6-78 = In this series Baba was photographed by Padri in Bangalore on 31 March, 1940. Baba is gesturing "How should I act?" Padri answered, "Just go on talking to the mandali, giving orders, talking to the masts, whatever you want. I just want to take your action pictures." When this image was taken Baba and the mandali were engaged in casual conversation when suddenly Baba picked up a tin can and started to play it like a tabla.

6-80 = In this image Baba is tapping his forehead which was the sign for understanding. He may have been saying, "Did you understand it?" or "Did it get into your head?" He also used this sign to say "See that that man understands it properly."
6-83 = Baba is trying to explain something and get a point across to the mandali.
6-82 = Baba is indicating "Did you get that much", or "did you understand so far?"
6-81 = Baba is indicating with his hand "that's right, that's correct."
6-84 = Baba is making the sign for the number 9 using 5 fingers on one hand and 4 on the other. This could have been talking about 9 people or on the date the 9th.
6-85 = Baba is indicating, "That's that," or "Finished."6-86 = This image was taken when Baba had been telegraphing on the board. He put the board down after spelling a word and was about to further explain using gestures.
